"I think we may have cracked it.  This may well be the definitive album." - Warren Ellis

There is a certain magic that can only be invoked when Warren Ellis, Mick Turner and Jim White are brought together.  There is an energy and a raw excitement evident from the first electrifying opening moments.  Toward the Low Sun sounds like a first ever recording, for all their incredible music of the past, the Dirty Three have never seemed more relevant.

"It's a pretty big deal." - Stereogum
"Australian post-rock gods Dirty Three return." - Pitchfork
"Post-rock awesomeness." Rcrdlbl

Toward the Low Sun is released on 5 March, 2012.
